LYTH and Namey Energy Join Hands to Explore the Future of Sodium-ion Batteries

To strengthen collaboration in the new energy sector, a delegation from Luoyang Tianhuan Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (LYTH Energy) recently visited Namey Energy for an in-depth technical exchange. The visit not only enhanced mutual understanding but also laid the groundwork for deeper cooperation in sodium-ion and LTO battery technologies.

During the visit, the LYTH team learned about Namey’s sodium-ion battery production capability, R&D progress, and quality control system.
Sodium-ion batteries, with their long lifespan, high safety, and low raw material cost, are emerging as a promising option for both EV and ESS applications. Although the cost is currently slightly higher than LiFePO₄, ongoing capacity expansion and process optimization are expected to make sodium-ion batteries even more cost-effective — with higher energy density enabled by new cathode materials.
