China Tower Tenders Signal Demand for 48V and 51.2V LFP Packs

China Tower issued two notable procurement notices in the first week of July that deserve attention from battery module and PACK suppliers focused on telecom and light storage applications.

The first came from China Tower Jiangsu on July 2, 2026, covering base-station peak-shifting LFP batteries. The notice listed expected demand for 100Ah and 200Ah products, with framework-style ordering, a 60-month warranty requirement, and delivery within 10 calendar days after order notice. That combination is commercially meaningful because it suggests buyers are still prioritizing standardized formats, delivery discipline, and lifecycle confidence over experimental system configurations.

The second came from China Tower Sichuan on July 3, 2026, within a “super base station” supporting-equipment tender. The published equipment list explicitly included 48V100Ah smart lithium batteries and 51.2V100Ah backup LFP batteries. Even though the project also covered broader station equipment, the battery specifications are a practical market signal: telecom infrastructure demand continues to favor clear voltage-platform compatibility, cabinet-ready dimensions, and application-specific battery intelligence.

For battery suppliers, these notices reinforce a useful conclusion. Demand in telecom backup is not only about headline capacity. It depends on whether the battery pack can fit real site constraints, communicate properly with power systems, hold stable thermal behavior, and move through procurement with predictable lead time and documentation.

This is the kind of segment where custom PACK capability matters. A supplier that can adapt cell platform, enclosure logic, BMS communication, and delivery workflow to the telecom environment has a stronger value proposition than one selling only generic cells. For buyers, the message is equally practical: ask early about voltage platform, rack or cabinet fit, smart communication requirements, and warranty response expectations before comparing price alone.

LYTH View
The July 2-3 China Tower notices are a strong reminder that telecom battery demand remains specification-driven and execution-driven. Standard voltage platforms like 48V and 51.2V still create real opportunities for suppliers that can deliver reliable LFP PACKs with solid engineering coordination.

What LYTH Can Do
LYTH can support telecom and light commercial storage customers with LFP cell sourcing, 48V / 51.2V battery configuration discussion, custom PACK integration, BMS adaptation support, enclosure and application matching, and coordinated manufacturing communication for project-based battery supply.
